Though finding time for voluntary activities may seem difficult initially; such activities give a sense of satisfaction that is rarely found anywhere else. Philanthropy, charity, community service – you name it, there is no doubt that giving something back to the society is an enriching experience

A group of friends came together with the intention of giving something back to the society and started Sharanam Foundation a few years back. Who were inspired by the thoughts and philosophy of Jain Sadhvi Pawan Kumari Ji Maharaj, founder of Jain Sadhvi Padma Smarak Samiti, who dedicated her life to human service, education of children and upliftment of women.

Filled with enthusiasm, the founders of Sharanam Foundation gave shape to their dream and the foundation was born in 2024 – committed to doing real work and bringing about change by making society inclusive in the process. On our way, we have had to make many tough choices and constantly innovate – whether it is service delivery, education or promoting the concept of change in the field of women development. We have succeeded in bringing about change in the society through small actions.
